The ApolloMedia-Group was founded 1999 in Potsdam. The group is led by ApolloMedia Filmmanagement GmbH/ EvaApollo Media GmbH and based in Neubiberg near Munich. ApolloMedia Filmmanagement GmbH has so far accompanied thirteen investment funds that produced more than 80 Film- and TV projects, and, thus, belongs to one of the leading film production companies in Germany.

The name “Apollo” originates from the Greek mythology, being a synonym for dazzling beauty and shiny glamour. Nowadays this is the world of film. The annex “Media” refers to the actual media business with all its ways of possible exploitation including newest technology like video-on-demand or internet.
The single investment funds are despite of the high security level especially of the actual funds considered as a real entrepreneurial participation baring the full risk but also having the full chance to engage in the opportunities of the global media market.

Because of its long term experience in the media business ApolloMedia managed to establish an excellent network of well known Production Companies, Sales Agencies and Distributors forming the base for making successful movies.

End of December 2006, Entertainment Value Associates GmbH (EVA), a subsidiary of Odeon Film AG, acquired a majority stake in ApolloMedia Filmmanagement GmbH via its subsidiary EVA Finance GmbH. Since then former ApolloMeda Filmmanagement GmbH operates under its changed name EvaApollo Media GmbH.
